How would you feel if your coat turned white and there was no snow on the ground?
Would you feel just a little venerable ?
That is what is happening to the Snow Rabbits.
A cruel proposition for a rather defenseless creature.
With a White coat in a land of brown.
It decidedly reduces there ability to survive wouldn't you say?
How long will it take for the genes that tell the rabbit to change color to adapt?
To the sudden and rapid change of climate change.
Will they survive as a species and if they do not.
Who is to blame?
The only species that can change and destroy their environment.
Us.
How many other species are in the same boat,
that have not made themselves obvious to us.
